Default Replacing exhaust question

In the process of replaceing my downpipe.. Have one problem.. How the hell am I supposed to get to the three bolts that connect to the Cat... Any help? Anyone have any ideas? Take it off at the turbo? I'm lost...

those bolts are bitches man..... ok if your replacing the dp this is what i suggest.... take the bolts off at the turbo and cut the **** out of the dp and that exhaust bracket to get it off and then pull it all out the top, thats what i had to do when i was doing my test pipe install

yea, i had to use a stupid long box end wrench from under the car to get the bottom cat bolt, and a stupid short box end to get the one closest to the block, and the third was just a wrachet.

then the bottom bolts were pretty easy, just needed to be broken loose.

yea my prob was one was siezed in there and it striped the head of the bold to i had to make my own way of getting it out

Well I got it off, but the downpipe that I got is stock and the guy that had my car before me welded a new flex pipe in.. In turn ******* everything and making it so damn hard.. Ehh pissed off now.. I have everything out.. but the two of the bolts are still in the cat broken off and I need to find a downpipe back stock exhaust quick cause my *** has work tomorrow.. SUPER SHITTY

I suggest if you need to put your exhaust on.. You put one on a friends EVO first... Then tell him its his turn to do yours....
