Default Replacing my B5 with a Jetta?

Does anyone have any input on jettas. Im looking for like a 2001-2004 Jetta with the 1.8T in it. Of course manual.

Any ideas, i mean how girly is this car? I know by me usually only girls drive them. Also i see that they have a K04 for this car that will give it 245 hp an d285 lbs/ft TQ, is that the same that a B5 1.8T gets with a K04?

exactly what i am thinking. BUt my B5 is literally falling apart bit by bit, first one side of the bumper popped out now the other side, the under side plastic piece is melted and the bumper's lower grill slot on the driver's side is disformed and popped out its grill covering. Plus its at 87,000 needing a 90k mi tune up before i leave for school in august. Not to mention a few weird sounds every once and awhile and the LCD screen in the dash not working when its above 75.

i still don't think you need to resort to a jetta.... i mean come on man. granted, vw's and audi's are the same base, but you gotta love the audi family. the group of people that you've met over the years and even going on these forums. but i mean it's up to you in the end. personally i would say try to get a newer 1.8t (audi of course).

All cars fall apart, do the 90k service and save for something better than a jetta... noone likes FWD.

Couple of my buddies drive jettas I think they're pretty sweet. I think you should go for a B6 instead though, I was thinking about buying a jetta instead but I soon realized Audi's are on a whole different level in terms of class. Good Luck with the pick though hes some pics for your enjoyment. peace/
