I need to replace the front shocks on '02 A4 3.0 Quattro with a sport suspension. Just want to get standard replacement parts. Tried to find parts to buy online, and got confused... shouldn't shocks for the sport suspension be diffeerent from ones for the standard suspension? (I checked a few stores, they seem to show the same part for both). I've been burnt a few times before when sites tell you something is going to fit, and it doesn't...

Also, does 1.8T use the same shocks as 3.0?

They would be diffrent i would imagine but maybe the diffrence is only in the springs? I really don't know tho. sorry.

I'm not sure I just got my 3.0 a few days ago and havent had time to make love I mean get to know her yet but my guess is it should only be the springs that differ in the two I'm heading buy a dealer tonight to see where the mantiance was done on the one I just got I'll ask.
