Replacing a timing belt on a 2001 Audi 2.8 Quattro

...and it looks to be in great condition with the Nav system in function (the non-video, through "voice" kind) and I like the color (dark blue on white and black leather). However, the timing belt has not been replaced along with the pump, etc. and I was wondering if this seemed like a good purchase.
She would sell it for $10,400.
