Default Replacing turbo?

Ok, my little K03 is shot and I need a new turbo. I am going to GPopShop mine to K04 specs. THe question is should I install it? I am really confident I can do it but I would like to talk to some people who have done it. I have done the timing belt job myself and I did not find it that hard, just time consuming. I am going to school right now and don't have that much extra money to pay to have someone else install it.

I have looked around and read through this tutorial or DIY: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng27b.shtml
I does not look that hard, maybe just frustrating trying to get the parts off. THanks!

I have also read through this guy's post: https://www.audiforums.com/m_622021/tm.htm

Its just mainly draining oil and some coolent and undoing a handful of bolts. If you mark the vac line with some masking tape as soon as you remove them, you shouldnt have any problems, its really pretty easy.

You can do it. Its just a little time consuming. Dont expect a 4 hour job like some of the turorials state though.

Yeah i was not expecting that. LOL The timing belt said like 5-6 and I ended up spending like 11 or so. Thanks!

HAHA I could see that as making it worse... like forgetting stuff... but I don't drink anyways so no worries there. I WILL be drinking a lot of energy drinks though.
