Who has the Revo chip, and what SPS device do you have. I am thinking about getting their chip with the SPS 2. Just looking for some feedback on the products and the company, don't really know much about them and finding information isn't easy. Aslo does anyone know the output their chip claims to bump the HP too? Any dyno charts would be great!

Thanks
Dom

If your interested in revo/apr i would go apr. But giac is my first pick. Revo stole(says apr) aprs sotfware so your basiclly gettin apr software with revos minor tweaks.

I have revo with sps3 and I like it alot.Just so you know it is a flash not a chip and that is why I got it , so the dealer will not know that there is eney mods to the car.
Also everyone seams to say the same thing, that it is aprs idea but revo tweaked it so its up to you. but I picked tweaked.
Lastley all I can tell you is that set at high boost you are at about 22psi or 1.5 bar.
car will pull like a mo fo.
and get a forged DV

Yeah, dont get me wrong apr is tweaked also. I had it and it was more of a strong hard pull, revos more like giac and its like kick in the ****. Apr is def more reliable tho.

No I do not line in CT anymore, I live in Greensboro NC. The guy representing Revo seems to be pretty cool; he is meeting me at my work to flash the ecu, compared to me driving 1.5 hours to Charlotte to get the flash from GMP Performance (APR), and a re-flash if anything were to happen.

I am still undecided on whether to get the SPS 2 or SPS 3; I am leaning towards the SPS 2, because I just don’t know anything about timing and boost levels. Can the stock turbo handle 1.5 bar reliably? Everyday? I like the idea of being able to adjust, but at the same time do not want to screw anything up either. I have heard a DV is a pretty much a requirement, but can someone tell me what it will do for me? I am thinking it is similar to BOV, but not sure.

Turbo, how do you know the correct way to adjust your boost and timing is there a chart or something somewhere I can use as a reference?

Thanks guys for answering all my questions.

Hey guys, what should I expect to see with the Revo flash or what else will I get besides just the boost in HP. Like the GIAC flash will raise the redline 7000 rpm’s, and remove the speed governor. Will I see any benefits like that?

GIAC has the hardest pull, however thats not to say it will make you beat an equal car chipped with an APR chip.
APR has a smoother torque curve, whereas GIAC pours on the power early.
