I went with the sps3 only because it had the most controles on it and things like the timing I will not use now but may need it later depending on what mods I do later.
also on the back side of the controler there is a chart that will show where setings can be set for all options.
It also has a booklet that shows where timing can be set with diferent oct gass/race fule.
I would not advance timing past 3' on pump fule.
I am not sure of cost from sps2 to sps3 but if it is not that much more for the sps3 you might as well get it.
I paid $325 for the sps3.
The forged DV is a must because the stock one is plastick and tends to fail at a high boost.
Lastley I suggest you get a high performance air filter to (k&n,green) but it is up to you.
