ride height

Default ride height

hi can any one tell me what the standared ride height is on a 96 a4 1.8 turbo? i need the distance from the wheel arch to the centre of the wheel front and rear because my car look like a low rider and i think some cheap after market springs may have been fitted and i would like it standered cheers andy

my 97 was lke 1.75 inches in frot and 2 inches in rear before i lowered it, but that is a guestimate

Odd - it's usually the other way around. Why do you want to return it to stock? It'll look like a 4x4 then

Yeah, totally...people are always coming up to me and asking, "You go off-roading in that beast or what?"

Do you have pictures of your car? People 'round these parts can probably tell you pretty quick if your car has been lowered and whether or not the height needs some attention.

no I need the measurement from the wheel arch to the center of the wheel and the reason i what to rise the ride is due to the 18" wheels rub on the back with weight in the car cheers andy
