i just had a question to see what size ppl were running on their B5s without lowering it, i have my eye on going with 18s but will go with 17s t olower it to run 18s since keeping the strock ride height will be important when swapping the stock 15s back on it for winter

 

Most ppl run 18s on their B5 with 225/40/18 tires

thats what i was thinking thats why i was planning on going with a 205/40/17 but if i could run 18s w/o lowering that would be great

 

i have 18's and all i can think about is lowering now

 

with 225/45/17 you will have about a 4 finger gap all around, on stock sport suspension
if you run a 205 tire it will make it look even worse, because the tire will be stretched and look smaller

 

I saw a nice B5 today with 17" stock B6 sport wheels and thought they look better on the b5 than the b6........
