Hey I have a 2004 A4 1.8T and I'm thinking of putting rims on my car. I was thinking of putting 18", that way I don't have to modify the suspension but People at tire shop told me that it would sick on 20", does anybdoy have 20" on their A4 and if so did u have to modify anything and how is the handling with the 20"

Also if you know a good place to get good rims at a cheap price, let me know. Thanks.

 

you gotta tell us more info about your car... do it quik before the guys get on you.. slowwagon i believe his name is has 20s on an avant but i think its a b6. if you get 20s you are going to have to do some upgrades cuz the car is not going to ride the same.

 

It is 2004 A4 1.8T quattro with a sport package. It does not have any modifications.

I was thinking of getting 18" black giovanis ararat rims.

Those are alright .. Im sure they would look better on the car .
But dude , DONT get 20's

 

Yeah I think 20" would be too much. I'm thinking of going with 18" Black or 19" chrome. Its really hard to decide what to get.

 

20's = uselessness (unless your car is a showcar and gets trailered to the show)
19" do look ok on the B6.

 

i say go wit 19s

 

There is no purpose for a wheel to be bigger than 18" other than to make the car look ugly.

 

well if you haven't seen 19's on a b6 then you need to look for it because 19's on a b6 look great! my 20's are because i like to be different and have no complaints about them. He has a 2004 b6 so 19's would look perfect on his ride.

 

fongaroos has some serious 19s on a B6, those look awesome. I think 18s are great for B5s and 19s are the way to roll in a B6.
