i dont know. i drove my friends stock wrx and it was pritty damn quick. i know for a fact that my b5 a4 couldnt touch it. iv riden in a sti.....forget about it, it will take alot to get an a4 tokeep up with even a stock one. are you sure this guy knew they were even racing?

atleasta4's have style over the wrx's

 

btw have you guys seen the show "top gear" when they test drove a car made by ProDrive? that car was SICK!i didnt look like an sti but it used alot of parts from it including the engine. it had an upgraded awd system that let it get incredible cornering g's. cant remeber what it was called.

 

it's a wrx, not an STi. not a huge difference between stock a4 and stock wrx.

hey he wanted to race. so if he didnt kno how to drive then that's his fault. all im sayin is that i ripped one. and for all i can tell is that he had a turboXS exhaust w/ no cat kause i smelled that shii. if he had other mods, i wouldn't have known.

you're b5 wont be able to touch is kause it's 180bhp stock and a wrx is 230bhp stock. and it weights 200-300lbs less than an a4.

 

i didnt say it was an sti, just said i rode in one. my b5 has 190hp (not that it makes a big diffrence).

the wrx felt faster to me for many other reasons besides the hp and wieght. im not talking numbers (unless you wana look at the 1/4 mile times..more than a second diffrence). it revved much faster. unlike our slow reving 2 part flywheels (not sure if yours has a 2 part flywheel).if felt like thegear ratios were much more aggressive. there was very little turbo lag....bla bla bla

 

well here's a fact. lol i ripped him bad. cant argue w/ that. i'll try to race one at tha track. this time w/ my revo on and w/ cameras.
