Default Robbery Attempt on my 96 A4

On Thursday the 12th of 2006 at about 2:00am someone tried to break into my car.

The person was unsuccesful, for various reasons. They did not know my car had an alarm system, when they tried to clip my glass the motion sensors tripped.

Basically they used the screw driver method... placed a flat-head screwdriver into the window and pulling it down causing pressure on the window making it snap.

The crooks were n00bs at this they should of knew.

My car has alarm system & motion sensors. That by me having tints, the window will still hold in place due to tape. Also, there placement of screwdriver was incorrect.

Well, I am glad they did not get it, and the damage was minimal.

Could have been much worse if they got inside.

your alarm saved your car and the contents by the sound of it, tint film is a good idea only if you have alarm and interior sensors fitted otherwise it makes it simpler and quieter for the thief plus he doesn't have to sit on the broken glass when hes mucking about in there because its all stuck to the tint film and easily removed in one go ( I saw that on the TV ), filthy swines though give them a kicking if you catch them[:@]
