put your windows down and arm the system. The wind sets my interior motion detectors off, if my windows are down.

doesnt every audi have those motion sensors ? ... i thought they were built in and controled my a button on the drivers side between the rear and front seats? i've pressed it before but i dont know what way is on or off ... oh well ... atleast thats what i think it is.
Yeah...I'm also curious as to how that button works. I was playing around with it and now I can't get my motion sensors to work. [&:] If anyone knows how, I'd love to hear it.

The stock motion detectors are armed as soon as you lock the doors... that button on the B pillar is to deactivate them, in case you were leaving your windows down a crack, or leaving a pet inside. I think you hold the button for 5 - 10 seconds until it lights up, then they are "off".

It's in the manual.

Can I add a suggestion? How about supplementing the alarm with something extra? W/o a tow truck, your car would be almost impossible to steal. I installed a Ravelco in my Jeep and the thing is a miracle. It's cheap and so comparably simple it borders on the ridiculous.
