I have a Thule, came with my car for free.. I don't need it, the guy said he bought it for 500. No drilles, it just grabs ur roof with pads, no damage to paint. It really is a high quality rack.

What a coincidence!

Hence, buy it.

Edit : my bad ur not a b6... i could have sworn i saw a b6.

i've had a thule rack for years. i just switch the feet or fit kit depending on what i need. they're great. you can just swap from car to car, the parts never go down in value so you can just sell the fit kit and buy another for the same price. they're kinda expensive, but its definitely worth it. i think i assembled it all for like 300 bucks off of ebay, but in the store it would be closer to 500 probably. just go to thule.com and see what parts you need, and search for them on ebay. its usually cheaper if you buy one by one, rather than a whole kit but you never know.
