Rough Idle.
Ok, got back to the car today, it's been one week since I last looked at it.
Started, warmed, drove her around, then listened to the injectors with a stethescope, they all sound normal, that is the pass. side bank (1,2,3, misfire) sounds the same as the driver side bank. Filled the tank up, restarted, and the CEL extinguished. Good sign.
But still the rough idle persists. The strange part of this is that the only roughness is at idle, otherwise the engine revs freely and doesnt hesistate.
Went to Autozone for the free diagnostic and the tool registered "searching 1 of 10 sensors). The misfire codes did not appear. Maybe their tool only reads for sensor codes?
Code P1158, air - fuel something or other. Is this MAF?
If there is a sensor code and misfire codes, will the car pass NYS inspection with the CEL extinguished?
