Default RPM dropoff???

I did a search and found nothing that I was sure was analgous so forgive me ifI missed something (don't yell at me Onepoint8tee - lol).

Anyway, I've noticed that my RPMs seem to drop under heavy throttle (not floored, but right before I cam the pedal the whole way down). Typically, it's about a 200-300 RPM drop and then it starts climbing up high again. It seems to occur around4K RPM. I just put in a new K03 and NGK BKR6Es gapped to .028.

Any thoughts?

At 4K RPM on a car that redlines over 6.3K? That doesn't seem right and it never did it in the previous 2+ years I've had the car....
