I think I might have the same issue. Here's what happens to me.

If i'm crusing along in 4th gear, then punch it, it'll downshift and the revs immediately jump (obviously) but then they drop back down 200-300 for a second, and then start climbing again.

I was wondering if it was just normal, but i'm curious to see what anyone else has to say.
