ive wanting to swap out my bose system in my car, but the only problem is, everytime i take it somwhere to get it done they tell me that a after market stereo could blow out my stereo or my speaks in the car.... any one have any suggestions on waht i should do? if it possible maybe i can do it myself if anyone has a wiring diagram that i can follow. really ANYTHING will help. thanks

 

i dunno about blowing th espeakers but i have heard that you will have to re-wire the whole audio sytem for aftermarket to work properly. what are you tryin to do exactly. the bose system sounds pretty good i was just gonna add a sub. there is a DIY on AW about this.
