if the chip is new, theres the reason brother....give it about a month until the car adjusts to the chip and the chip adjusts to the car )

I HIGHLY doubt its the chip. Get your tranny fluid checked, and check your oil of course. You sure that when you are on a hill and acceleratiing that you just dont need to downshift to a higher gear and decrease the engine load to get it going??? If that makes sense? Is it a manual or auto??

Manual, but I don't know if the transmission fluid would be low, oil change done about 1,000 miles ago.

I'm not new to stick the sound thats refered to is a midrange power.

My car does the same thing. I have Michelin Primacy tires on mine about 4k mi on them. I thought they were the problem to the noise, but I could be wrong because I chipped my car six days ago. Help me out too.

ive actually been having the same problem recently, also. i thought it was the timing belt at first, but i believe its the wheel bearings.

ok say hypothetically it is the timming belt would a worn timing belt do this??? For me, I don't think it's the wheel bearings because it happend after chipping!
