s4 suspension on 2.8
Yeah so I know this topic has been covered a few times before, but here's my deal.
I picked up stock S4 springs and shocks for $50. The wheel gap on my car is OUT OF CONTROL, in the front its at least 5 fingers if not more. I'm just not happy with how the car looks. I have heard many different opinions of what will happen when you put the S4 suspension on the 2.8 since the weights are similar. Is anyone here actually running this set up, or has run it in the past (only the 2.8ers, I know it wont work on the 1.8). I don't have the sport suspension now, so I am assuming it will drop that front gap a little bit, and MAYBE a small increas in performance, which honestly right now I don't care about. Since I got everything for so cheap, I am very happy if i can just get that front gap down an inch or two.
Thoughts?

Yeah I know for sure that they wont have a fitment problem. I would just like to see some pictures of a 2.8 with the s4 suspension, to see if it will lower my ride height at all. From all the reading I have done, it should drop it to about a 3 finger gap or so, which would be 100 times better than what my non-sport is at now. I have also read that the handling will be a little stiffer with some understear which can be corrected with an aftermarket rear bar. Honestly I was just wondering if anyone has or knows of anyone who as pictures of this set up on a 2.8...
as long as the 2.8 is quattro, which you are, it will fit perfectly and sit perfectly.. the 2.8 and S4 are almost the exact same weight. just a couple turbos, intercoolers, and a slighlty larger trans is the only difference..
so you should be sitting about stock S4 ride height if you install them

yeah I will definitely get some before/after pictures up as soon as I find some time to install them. I might just do all the control arms at the same time. I will keep you guys posted.
