Sad day for the A4....
Thanks alot guys - she ended up staying overnight and the only major injury was a cracked sternum from the seatbelt. I guess hitting a parked semi will do that to you. Anyway I'm not sure on what i'm going to do about a new car just yet. I have to see what insurance will cover but it will definitely be an Audi.
John, sorry for your baby but glad your mom’s ok. The positive angle from stories like this, (and the one I saw on Dateline a few weeks back) is we’ve got safe high performance cars. My wife drives a B6 A-4 also, and puts a lot of miles on it. Between your story and the Dateline show (where the A4 got the highest marks in those nasty new crash tests..) I feel a better for all of us.
Good luck man. You’ll find another good’n.

Man, important ur mom's okay, material things can be replaced, family can not. And I second that motion, she does owe you a S4, but if she gets you another A4 and you don't want it, let me know I'll take it off your hands...
Thanks again guys -
Went and saw my mom today. She is very sore and bruised but is moving about alright. Her chest really hurt since she broke her sternum but she should be discharged tomorrow morning. Thanks alot for your sympathy.
Insurance is working on my side and I will either end up with a B7 or a used S4. If not, I'm waiting on the S-Line in October.
