Default SAE 0W 40

Hey guys i just did my oil again today and i figured i would go with the Mobile 1 Euopean car formual insted of the Royal. But anyways The lowest 0 they had was 0W 40. Now my oil Temp gage jumped up a little bit rather than me using 10W 30 im guessing thats just the oil but ive never used this stuff.

Is that normal with jumping up into the 40's?

I just changed my oil yesterday. I'm still running M1 0w40 and haven't had any problems with my temp

On hot days 225 degrees F is fine for the oil.

....But its cold.

It should be fine i was just saying when changing to the 40's or changing the viscosity does that have anything to do with it. And now i know yes
