i have searched on sites, i have read the manual 100 times.. i have the anti theft code, but when pressing fm2 and RDS.. nothing happens. i wait / drive for 1 hr with it saying safe mode, and off, and nothing. i dont see a 1000. am i doing something wrong? or is the stereo messed up and im not going crazy..

... what year is your car? … see if vin # on your manual matches the car, i’ve seen it on S4 for some reason it didnt, what i was told vin # was changed by the dealer… anyways we had to pull radio out and call dealer with the number on the radio to get a right code…

 

the thing is, i dont even get a chance to enter in a code =(

try not starting your engine, i believe manual say have your key in ignition for an hour and then reenter code, but it didn’t say start your car and drive… try this…
