well thank you buddha I am glad you approve. I love the color as well. Black is over done and so is white, IMO, so I thought this car is the perfect amount of being different but not in a bad way.

My car is non-sport (non-red shocks + the smaller fat 5 spoke wheels) AND i have the "S" --> ... ("S"hameful of my auto trans)

Im pretty sure that every automatic 02+ has "S" mode... i wouldnt know about pre 02

AMZE-

Show me an Audi with the "S".....that ISN'T a sport model.

That's what I thought.

Now whose posting is the dumb one?
Your post was not dumb and he shouldn't have posted that it was. However, the "S" has nothing to do with the car being "Sport" version. That "S" has everything to do with it being tiptronic, and that's all it means. But being tiptronic doesn't mean it's "Sport" edition. Two totally separate things. I'll show you pics as I find them, but as you can see from others who've posted here, "S" is not the true indicator of the car being "Sport". Suspension, wheels and interior trim are. Adding body kit and even BIGGER wheels to that suspension and trim then makes it "Ultrasport" (everyone say, "oooooOOOOOOooooooh, ULTRA-sport").

EDIT- On a side note, it's funny that adding a girl's name to the thread makes it viewed more times than the average post. Gonna have to remember that and add a chick name to all future posts... lol.

I have two index fingers wheel gap on the top portion of the wheel... but I don't see any red in the back or near behind the rim.. am I looking in the wrong spot[&:]?

and thanks for straightening that out faquad.. lol @ "S" meaning sport.. retarded.
Hmmm..... look at the shocks/struts. They are red or almost a brownish red on sports. They go right up the center middle behind the wheels. I had about two fingers in the front at sport level. The real indicator, besides measuring or seeing part number of rear sway bar (which is bigger and different part number on Sport than Stock), is the strut bar up in front of the battery. If you don't know what to look for, though, you won't know it's there, as it's kind of hidden. When you see it on a sport model pointed out to you, then you'd say, "Oh, OK, now I see it".

WOW that's pretty border line sexist of you to say that my thread is getting viewed because I'm a girl. Anywho.......the S isn't for the tiptronic the S mode and the tiptronic are two TOTALLY different things. There's a D mode for regular driving and an S mode that is still an automatic (no shifting or anything) but it shifts at higher RPMs

i think he meant tiptronic in the sense that its an automatic vs a 5/6speed as all audi atuomatics are tip....

Okay but being an automatic and having tiptronic are two seperate things as well.......he should clarify to deplete anyone of any confusion.

Only borderline?
Nope, what's sexist is that it does happen that way, that on a predominantly male forum the posts obviously from a female get viewed more, lol. The few girls at the other Audi forums joke about it all the time.
As for the whole "S" thing.... I'm talking out my azz..... I really have no idea about anything automatic/tiptronic/sport shifting in an Audi so I'll call BS on myself.... I've never owned an automatic car (have an Auto SUV, though) and wouldn't have anything but a stick in an Audi.
But I do know that the "S" for the shifting mode has nothing to do with being a sport edition as an entire car, for sure.
