so all of you are saying chip it...wth does that mean? hahahahah...

i got mine from the audi dealer..yeah buying an audi at a bmw dealer doesn't seem like a pleasant purchase..although last weekend i did see a really really nice white m3 with like a deep red interior at the bmw dealer...OMG..it was sweet...i always feel that it's better to buy your car from the dealer ure gonna get it serviced it cause i feel that they would treat you better since u purchased your car from them..yeah so i was lucky to find one at stevens creek cause stevens creek like never has any cars that i want...but yeah i hear their service dept is pretty good too...

does anybody know of any websites i can get stuff from? i wanna get clear corners cause i really don't like the orange...also..i wanna get a spoiler for my car..should i just get that from the dealer or is there an aftermarket one thats better? yeah...I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT THIS STUFF...

 

a lip looks much better than a spoiler imo...a chip is a part that gets soldered into your ecu and reprogams it to give you 40+HP and i think almost twice the boost (i may be wrong about that though)...you would have to get an add-on feature (or it's included with APRs) that disables the chip for when you take it to the dealer for warranty issues (chipping your car voids a lot of repairs under warranty)

theres really no more soldering of the chip anymore its all reflash now
and GIAC, APR, and REVO have the switch to hide the program fromt he dealers

 

If its a B6, getting the amber peice out is rediculously easy, isnt it? Dont even need to break it up, it comes out in one piece! Unless she doesnt have HIDs... then ecodes might be the way to go anyways

 

oh yeah thats what i mean..a lip spoiler...not the regular spoiler u see on rice rockets or anything...

umm....i dont know anything about changing anything out of my car..haha i'm afraid i'm gonna break something obviously...so unless it REALLY easy...and i mean REALLY easy then not likely imma be able to do it myself..but maybe i'll search the DIY threads for something...

also has anybody hooked up their ipod to their car that maybe i can see a picture of the setup?

 

you need a blitzsafe or similar adaptor to hook up your ipod...here's a write-up for it...

the chip isn't something you do yourself, you can take it into a giac/apr dealer in san jo and have them do it, it takes about 30 minutes...most places will install it for free if you buy the chip from them

 

i dont think you'll be able to do the clear corner mod
but i think you can install a lip spoiler
