Default seafoam question

I have been reading alot about it as of late and i had one quesiton, when i Put the seafoam in the vac line do i have to change the oil again after a few 100 miles??? if i dont put it in the oil.. I have some of the auto-Rx and with that stuff you just run the motor for 10 minutes or so then change the oil.. so i was going to put that in the oil and the seafoam in the vac line..

so basically i put it in the vac line while its running, turn the car off wait 15 minutes then start the car up and watch the smoke show... then do the auto rx crap and then change the oil??

I've don't know much about the seafoam but if you go to audizine.com theres a great DIY for seafoam with plenty of discussion about it. Just go to that site and search for seafoam.

There has been a lot of talk about if seafoam is actually ok for the car or not. I have been told on one hand by a 30 year veteran mechanic that only does Porsches and Audis that he wouldn't put that stuff anywhere near the cars. On another hand there have been a lot of writeups and threads saying how its done wonders.

it's fine to use, you just can't leave it in there for long at all...they say to run it in your crankcase for a full tank of gas, which would take most people a few days to drain. i put it in, drove about 60 miles, and drained it a couple hours after putting it in. i'm pretty sure if you put it in the vac line it will all burn off, you shouldn't have to change your oil

Dump a bottle in the gas tank too (on a full tank)... I noticed quicker start ups by doing that.
