I've got a 5 year old 1.8SE Avant and wedo a lotfor camping trips during the summer. I'd like to be able to charge a 65Ah leisure battery from the alternator via a split-charge relay. I've seen a number of articles on how to do this on campervanand in-car hi-fisites but I doubt that the advanced electrics on the A4 will just allow me to fit a £5 relay under the bonnet!</P>


Does anyone have any ideas or even any experience on this idea? I'm sure that one of thehi-fi enthusiasts out there must have done this in the past.</P>
