Thats a good source for mtm products in the usa, but they dont currently have an 1.8t items for the a4. They recently revamped theyre site so im hopping its just a matter of time before they get the older a4 stuff up.

I've also read/been told that any Audi dealerships that tune from the dealership, are tuning with MTM.

Just depends on where you go.
I agree, this thread needs more info on MTM. I've been hearing the name quite a bit lately.
Only experience i have with mtm software is on s4's but i have nothing but good things to say about it. Most chips seem to lose all the low end torque in favor of high rpm hp. They keep the torque while losing a bit of the high rpm hp. Seems like a faster car to me thou and they have less reliabitly problems.
Alright well I have only had my Audi a4 quattro for about a week. I was looking through the links up there and I was wondering, does being quattro make any difference? Like, if i clicked on the link for 1997-2000 audi a4 1.8 turbo for an APR chip would that chip work on a quattro?

How about some objective evaluations/comments? Not who's better, but just additional real-world info. I'll start.
GIAC
These comments are for a 2001 AWM engine.
Standard K03 File: Excellent! Strong and smooth. No surging. Works with N75C (stock), N75H (ECS Race), and N75J.
Standard K04 5bar file (FX): Strong and smooth until about 5000 rpm. At ~5000 rpm, there is severe surging due to throttle body closing due to high load, fueling, and other factors. This is the case for a 2001 AWM engine and may not apply to other engines.
Updated K04 Hammer File: Excellent! Strong and smooth throughout the rpm range. Maximizes the benefit of a K04. However, requires 380cc injectors, a TT225 MAF, a FMIC, and a freer flowing exhaust. Use stock N75C!

^i wouldn't bother man, your engine is only a 12v and not worth upgrading anything performance wise. Your best bet is to buy a 1.8t bro.
I'm confused on the Revo chips, why does it say 163bhp and no 170bhp?
