i think i will have to miss this GTG
i made reservations for europe between sept 11 and sept 25th. (assuming my wife is allowed to take off work)
if she is indeed allowed, i will see you all for the October GTG; if she is not, then you might as well disregard this post

Vince - I say Chip .. on a side note - are you staying NA w/ the Prelude?
Yea, the Prelude is staying NA. My original plan was to build the Prelude to run NASA Honda Challenge H1 (H1 doesn't allow FI). However, it'll be very expensive to run that class. So I'm thinking about building it per the H1 rules, but run it in Time Attack/Time Trial events to hopefully build my recognition. Just FYI, my name and the Prelude were mentioned in two issues of Modified Mag.

And about the chip.......[sarcasm mode on] *must resist spending $$$ on the Audi* [sarcasm mode off]

Hey guys, where are you checking for your sway bars--and a stupid question but how much of a difference does an upgraded sway bar make (exclude following answers: alot). and what kind would u recommend for my 02 A4 3.0. Thanks

And Jason-- I am disppointed in you, even thinking that it MAY not be as fun as last time... it can ONLY get better[sm=badbadbad.gif]

Everyone else this pertains to-- congrats on your mods, I am jealous, very very jealous. but glad its you guys

whoa, didn't know this was going on. ya might want to post this in the socal page as well, cuz i had no idea till chef brought it up on another thread elsewhere. someone was asking at the last G2G why no TT's, S4, A6 or A8 show up, and this thread being discussed in the A4 section might explain that unless of course you want to keep it a A3/4 luvfest.

i'll put this on my calendar, cuz san pedro is only 10 minutes away and there's always time for lobster. but it's the weekend after i get back from monza so might still be jetlagged [sm=sleeping.gif]

I have an early day today, so the "home garage" is officially open for business.

I haven't done it in my B7 yet, but from my past experiences with Honda/Acura, the difference was very noticeable. The sway bar will improve the handling quite nicely. IMO, I would only upgrade the rear swaybar, and leave the front bar stock. This way, you can reduce the understeer that almost all cars tend to have right out of the factory, and will make the car more neutral. For my driving style, I would pick the largest swaybar that won't tear out any mounts or subframe. I'm torn between the RS4 22mm solid bar and the H-Sport S4 24mm hollow bar. I think either will provide similar improvement, but I really like the fact that the H-Sport bar is adjustable.

Very nice, evoic. I can't wait to hear your car at the next GTG.

For this recommendation, does it matter that my car is FWD and not quattro, does it work the same for both?
