2003 A4 Quattro has been at the dealer for ac problem (not cooling well at all) now for over 3 weeks. They claim to have tried 2 compressors and everything else but to no satisfaction.

Anyone with any similar problems. It is in warranty but this is getting ridiculous.

We have had issues with this dealer's service dept from day 1.

 

I have a simmilar problem, I bought the used a4 cabrion in march, so i didn't check if the ac was working. When it got to the summer It didn't work almost at all. sometimes the cold air was coming out only from the side vents, but blowing hot air from the middle. The other times only hot air.
I took it to the dealer on the warranty. He said that they tried everything, but it looks like somebody was playing and opening the engine (or maybe even the car was hit) and they don't want to charge me, because the warranty doesn't work anymore.
so right now I have the whole winter to figure out what to do.

 

Could be evaporator. Could be flap valves not directing the air over the cooler. Could be lots of things.
