Service and Questions
Called dealer and my model has a recall for "timing belt inspection." What else should I ask them to do while there. I am noticing that when the moonroof is tilted up, there is a slight rattling noise and I cant figure out whats causing it. Also, when i drive slowly or when i break fast, i hear a little creak from the front wheels. I also wonder about the sound the car makes while running, it has a borla exhaust but when accelerating i can hear a sort of "ticking noise" Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks
1. You should never pay the dealership to fix anything on your car unless it's a last resort. Try to find a shop near by that specializes in audi.
2. Your brakes may need to be checked.
As far as the ticking noise, I have no clue. Search for shops that work with audi cars and you can save a lot of money as opposed to going to a dealership.

Being you're out of warranty , I would only let the dealer check the belt. I think the charge 1 1/2 hours labor to check the belt. If that's the case , just change it befor 90.000 mi.
