Six months ago I bought a Audi 2007, A4, front wheel drive,turbo. It has 45000 miles on it.
Just recently it got a sign says "need service"
I have no problem understanding the sign. LOL..
I need your advice here. Other than oil and filters change, how important is to go to dealership and pay $ 200 and get scanned my car for probably other small stuff. which may not be a big issue at this time. What your say on it ?

P.S... BTW my car runs great . No complain at all.

 

I would say that it's unnecessary to go to the dealer to get your car scanned every time you get a service warning. If the car is running fine, you should be good just keeping up on normal maintenance like oil changes and spark plugs.
