Default SH**! I biffed my car!!!!!

Dudes. I suppose my Pilot Sports weren't the best choice to be driving in the snow with. (they're summer tires for those who don't know). We just got hit w/ 6" of snow and my car handles worse than a FWD honda on ice. So i'm pulling into my apartment area, EXTREMELY EXTREMELY SLOW and my car just slides over a curb and into a concrete wall. I was only going 1mph or so... so it was nothing bad. I scratched up the drivers side of my bumper (just needs some touch up paint) and dented my fender. It's all fixable... but just in case... any one know where I can get a new drivers side fender for an '01 A4? New/ Used doesn't matter. Santorin Blue if possible?

btw- this inspired me to go online and purchase some snow tires. Hankook 404's any good? $400 SHIPPED for 225/45/17's.

Any snow tire will do, it's all preference. Hankook is a good company though so you should be good.

I've been rollling my yoko AVSs this week, and it's been around 0 degrees and snowy on the roads since tuesday morning. I didn't even use my brakes this week until this morning when I got my snow tires mounted. I don't recommend that anyone ever do that. My only slip-up was this morning, when traveling down a real steep incline I just couldn't save the slide, brushed the curb (thank god my wheels are so sh!tty) and slid right out into the road past a stop sign. No one was coming, so I got lucky. This was on the way to the tire shop. Yesterday I had to honk a girl out of my way in the pedestrian crosswalk because there was no way I was stopping for her.

On a related note, I've been liking my Dunlop M3s. Still able to have fun in the snow, but all the terror is gone from stop-and-go traffic.

I cannot WAIT to have these new tires. My back end almost shot into the curb on my entire drive home before the incident.

I'm also looking for tires right now, current ones are low on thread.

What do you guys think of Toyo Proxe 4s? I know they are all seasons but I can get them any size for $300. They retail for 400+.

I find when u let off the gas and try to turn the car will just push. U have to apply some power to the wheels to get it to turn.
