I'm sorry, I don't like the black corners. The rest of it looks great, though. And the idea to paint the rings black and put them back on the grill is good. You should consider doing the same for the back rings. You don't have the factory sport suspension, if you were still wondering.

I'm feeling the all black vibe of this car. The e codes with black housing will look great.

what did they do to there engines?

bored out the throttle body for one..there are problems with the flow, its flows (i believe) from 23mm to 35mm..which is like a river flowing into a lake..they bored it out and gained huge amounts of power back (tryin to get the guy who did it to do a write up for me).....improved the intake system with velocity stack and removing the restrictive screen (used to smooth out air, but VS takes care of that much better)...

go to Audiworld and check out the 12v development forum for a lot more...the audi production of gaskets was also pretty bad...something like 25% of your fuel injection is blocked at some point by the gasket that overhangs....there are really good write ups on the board there about all this, im new to it all, so im still learning...

I HIGHLY doubt Mance will make you a write-up. Why would he disclose his trade secrets to you? I have all of the mods you are talking about. The gains are nice, but not huge like you described them.

and i only listed two mods....there are plenty more...

Nice ride. Again i must agree with everyone else, i am not a fan of smoked out tailights and corners. However I also LOVE the stock rims. The car overall looks nice and prestine. Good job!

looks nice man. not a HUGE fan of the tinted corners (thought it was a mercury marauder when i first glanced) but otherwise looks great. the grille definatly needs a logo in there, and spank those black rings on the backside ASAP!

EDIT: BTW, if ur a tad scared to pry the lense off ur headlights... i'll probably be doing it in a little while (anywhere btw 1-3 months) to my Ranger...

EDIT AGAIN: I'm starting to warm up to these smoked corners man. if u find the right clearcoat they'd look a lot better. blend in with the paint instead of being flat.

i agree with pretty much everyone here, i don't really like the smoked corners either. i'm thinking about painting the housing black on the e-codes when i get them, save me some money i don't have. i'm not going to do any major modding, my gas mileage is bad enough as it is. i got a k&n panel filter, and i'm putting in a custom exhaust with a high flow single cat setup and high flow muffler, that's about it.
