Very nice and great work on the tint.

All that black just isn't my cup of tea though.

btw, this isn't just for show-and-tell, i'm lookin for some input on what you guys think, suggestions, all that crap. eventually i'm gonna paint the center rings black and put them back on, and get some one-piece e-codes (possibly paint the housing black, don't know yet). and i'm trying to find a sport suspension to swap my stock out with. how much lower do the sport suspension a4s sit then the standard?

i have the 16" wheels and the sport steering wheel, but i'm pretty sure i don't have the sport suspension, can anyone tell from these pics whether i do or not?

I'd skip the sport suspension and go with something a little lower, then I'd do some simple clean wheels. Also try spraying your tails with a clear coat, it will get rid of the flatness

tom, i think i'm gonna stick with the stock wheels, i like basic 5-spokes and i like a taller wall than most people. thanks for the input though. any suggestions on a good suspension? my main concern is keeping the ride comfortable, that's why i was thinking sport, since it's less drastic. and coilovers are too much for my budget right now. as far as the tails go, i wet sanded those bad boys forever and put about 6-7 coats of clear coat on, if not more, i don't know what happened.

Hmm, I got s4 ultra h&r c/o but the ride is a little stiff, I would probably go with a good strut spring combo, although I don't have experience with any I'm sure some other ppl will tune in. As far as the tails, I tinted my jetta ones and tried several different clear coats, I can;t remeber which company it was but one turned out really nice and shiny..possibly dupli-color? You just hafta try a couple companies but I know I had the same problem and I tried a different company it it turned out great looking.

thanks for the tip tom, i'll try some dupli-color and see how that works out. the funny thing is that i used an "ultra-gloss" clear coat and wet sanded that bitch for daays, and it still turned out like that

thought about modding the engine yet? there are people at audiworld who have gotten 20-30 more horsepower outta their ride for fairly cheap...
