Default should i buy this 99 a4?

http://tinyurl.com/32aura

it seems like a great deal and is priced very favorably compared to the kbb. im hesitant bc im not very familiar with audis. my main concern is reliability. will i get 50-75k more miles out of it? i need to drive to maine and back from cleveland at the end of the summer. should that be a concern?

greatly appreciate the advice.

if the previous owner took good care of the car and you continue this then it will be a fine car. it does have a lot of miles so you will need to replace more things then if you got one with less but tahts a given. it should be ok to drive that distance if everything is ok with the car. i cant say forsure because i just have pics to go by

looks alright.
Ask when the t-belt was done.
The v6 is pretty reliable, if you take care of it, it should easily last you to 200k and then some.
And, its quattro/manual, so a pretty fun drive.

typically you can tell a car has been maintained well if it looks like they loved the car as if it was there child, by this i mean, the seats are not tore up, no coffee stains, no smoking in the car, carage kept, i keep my car sooo clean, and i keep up on repairs, idk, but if they cant do little things like keep the apperence of the car up, then im sure they dont maintain machanical aspects either... i bought my a4 with 89k on it, but it is MINT, with a record of repairs, you may want to ask if they have a record of repairs also.

i drove it and it ran well and was indeed very fun to drive. it was very clean but its from a dealer so im not sure how the former owners treated it.

i ordered the carfax on it and there were 2 owners for it. the report showed there were regular services for the first 80k with the first owner. there were no reports from the 2nd owner for hte last 30k miles.

ty for the advice guys.

Have it checked by an independent mechanic who deals with Audi VW so you know what problems you are buying.

i have owned two 98 2.8 quattros.
both of them totalled but one was at 135k and the other at 120k. . . both running strong
all i did for the most partwas regular maintenance. oil changes, brakes, etc. . .
i did have to replace an ABS module on one, and a brake master cylinder on the other.
