I have a 1997 A4 1.8T Tip, and I'm gunna do a bunch of mods to my car in the up coming weeks and Ive been anticipating to get the GIAC Chip and the Tip Chip. Heres my question when I was looking on the AWE Tuning website looking at the A4 Chip its say for the 20V 1.8T and I have a 5V 1.8T does anyone know if it will still work or have a link for a chip the is compatible for a 97 1.8T Tiptronic.

it 5valves per cylinder... 5X4=20 valves

 

dude thanks lol ive been looking at that chip for like 6 months now and when i saw 20V and my engive said 5V i got really worried lol

 

I just got my GIAC Chip and I'm sure you'll like it alot. I was told that you may experience performance issues due to the changes made. Your chip dealer can fill you in with details.
