I bought my car in early September,I actually was dealing with Matt in the beginningand ended with Jerry. They were both cool. The S4s were nice too. They had three at that time.

Hey, just wanted to say that I bought my last car - 1.8T VW passat - from RamseyCorp and they gave me a killer deal.
Bump for RamseyCorp

Well that's a dumb question.

You're walking down the sidewalk and spot a hundred dollar bill. Do you pick it up, or just keep walking?

Almost any car bought at a dealer comes with usually a minimum of a 30day/1000 mile warranty. Take it back ASAP, and ask them to please fix the brakes for free, because there is a problem and you just bought the car. Dont wait any longer, because then they will try to get out of paying for it.
They'll tell him "Our warranty doesn't cover that" like any typical dealer, ask to see the papers you signed and move on from there. They might be wrong but usually they're lying to you and hoping you don't look any further into getting there help.

But yeah, a 30 day warranty is usually present from a used car dealer, definitly speak with someone and find out of the details.

Ok so i went to the dealer today and as soon i was pulling up the mechanic was looking at my car funny because the brake noise was so loud (he was across the street) As soon as he saw me he said what the problem the noise is bad i said yea and he said that every car that comes into the dealership leaves with new breaks. now get this he said he remembers putting new brakes into my car and that they just need to break themselves in. Now this is what really gets at me, its been about 300 miles later and the brakes did not break in yet??? Can this be true, Brakes having to break in. When i first got the car the first 3 days no problems. It was after a stupid snow storm we got in jersey that my brakes started making noise. Now the noise isunbearable i hate it and it really pisses me off. Because everyone who sees my car doesnt even say nice car no more they say "dam whats up with those brakes" So the mechanic told me wait two weeks if this persists bring it back and we will look at it for u. What i want to know is has anybody put new breaks in there audis and for the next 4 weeks u have a loud brake noise that sounds like a bus stopping???????? So are they right or are they lying to me do they need to break in??????? i would like to hear ur feedback thanks.....

I got new rear brake pads recently, and that day they were completely silent.

Something ain't right. Do you have some 30 day warranty or something? After you wait 2 weeks, will you be past that 30 days? If so, then i wouldn't wait.

With a thread title like this, how could no one have brought up sex yet?! Like it was said in Risky Business by Booger, "Truth is, I don't have to pay for it... I get it for free".

You have to wonder if they are telling you to come back in a couple of weeks because something expires by then... Did you check the brakepad thickness? I went to the dealership for my 60k service and they said I should get new pads soon with 3.5 mm on them. I think 3.25 is time to replace but maybe someone can back me up on that? Anyway, check them out if you can and don't wait around if something doesn't seem right. Everyone should be saying "nice car" to you. Period.
