Default Silly question

I don't know how dumb this is going to sound but I can't seem to find out this info anywhere else.

I have a 01 A4. What are the headlight wattages for low beam versus high beam?

Is it 45W and 55W?

What is the real difference? If I have 55W bulbs (allegedly 8000K) and put them in the low beam spot, are they not going to look as good as they can because I did and they don't look that great to me.

I have a really good set in my fogs but I've since thrown the packaging away. Sad, cuz they look HID and amazing and I can't even replace them with the same kind.

Do I need 45W bulbs for the low beam and 55W bulbs for the high beam? What about the fogs?

I'm fairly sure(not certain) that they are the same - is just how they are aimed in the housing that makes the light pattern of the hi's higher than the low's. in other words - same power just one is aimed a the ground more.
