Default New A3 owner, have a silly question

I just recently purchased an 07 A3 2.0T after riding in my cousins A4, I fell in love with the brand. I absolutely love this car, but it did not come with an owners manual so it's taking me some time to get used to everything "hidden." The thing thats bugging me the most is the button on the back of the center console with a key logo on it. What does this do? I've messed with it a little but have not been able to find out. I did a quick search but it came up empty. Thanks for your help.

Jaime

I'm pretty sure it is for someone in the rear to lock all the doors.

Eger is correct. This switch will not unlock the doors however. The passengers in the rear will have to pull the handle once to unlock the door, and twice to open the door.
