After getting my Civic stolen, I picked up my dad's 1997 A4 2.8 with 33k miles on it! I'd like to put some wheels on it and lower it about an inch (nothing too drastic). Any advice or SUGGESTIONS would be great.

That's funny, I thought exhaust would be one of the later things. I started getting tired of hearing a loud exhaust from the Greddy I had on my Si. Does it sounds remotely the same on Audis when you put exhaust? I hope it's a little quieter at least.

 

Well the nice ones are deep and mellow and sound really nice.

Itl only sound bad if u have a fart can in the back.

i have an exhaust on the same car except with about 90000 more miles . mine sounds deep but aso a little loud. closer to a v8/v6 grumble than a 4 banger fart can wine. i have a custum 3 "catback to a dual bullet muffler. as for suspension i have neuspeed bilstiens shocks and Aavantgaurd springs. this is a nice setup but you can get h&r springs dont think they sell Aavantgard stuff any more.

you moved up in class so you gotta get nice deep and lower tone sound

u could also get some h&r coilovers to lower it. Should have a nicer ride.
