Yeah go with tirerack.com, they are the most reputable for wheels and such.

For a 97 A4 2.8, is it uncommon to have 18x9 wheels in the rear and 18x8 wheels in the front since it's not a rear wheel car?

its not uncommon u have front track so staggered wheels wont mess anything up
