Hi all,

Might sound crazy but I might want to replace my 6cd changer double din headunit with a single din (factory) to open some space for a carputer setup. Is there one available for a 2002 B6 (w/o Bose upgrade) that will be direct plug in.

um mif you going to do a Carputer then why have an head unit just get a 7" touch screen and put it in the dub Din spot with the PC behind it

 

I know that is probably the ideal but I don't want to have to put all new sound system to my car. I want to be able to use the stock sound system and amps and speakers.

If I take out the head unit can I still use the factory speakers and amps some how.

I had done a sound system on my 99 Mustang GT but I really don't want to mess with my Audi too much once I start I won't be able to stop....

 

Ok, let me ask another question.

If I was to take my headunit out would I be able to connect my carputer to the stock amps and speakers.
Is there anyway???

Even if I go without the headunit I don't think I would want to sell it since I want to be able to go back to the original, incase I decide to sell the car. Sorry
What do you have in your car. Single Din? will it fit mine....
