I searched the forum for Ski rack comments and came up empty. I would like to add one to my 2004 A4. I've heard Thule is a good product. Anyone have a suggestion as to the best way to get a good fit? I currently have no rails or rack, but do have the moon roof.

All the rack and rail parts are generic and interchangable. the only part you need to get specific to your vehicle is the metal brachet that goes inside your door frame.

 

my personal favorite rack is Thule. I have it on two of my vehicles and love it. The reason I went with Thule over Yakima is Yakima uses round bars as opposed to square bars, like Thule. If you think abou tit, which has a better chance of coming loose, not having as tight a grip, etc....a round bar with a round clamp, or a square bar w/ square clamp w/ 90 degree angles?

 

Def go Thule, I have that system, but def get the Fairing that goes on the front of the racks (http://www.thuleracks.com/thule/prod...t_id=6&sku=872), def makes for better styling and if your like me, I get tons of cool stickers from snowboard comps, then you can slap a few on there to style it out a lil more to your liking.
