^Yep not worth it with the little power you have right now. I say dont spend the 200 extra. Tint your windows or somethin (I see youre a 12v so there isnt tooo too much you can do.)

but how good though when the stock ones hold enough for your abs to kick in. i would keep it stock unless if you have bigger wheels that have better grip and your car actually needs it

i have slotted and cross drilled all the way around with ebc red stuff brakes and it stops a whole lot better but i did all these at the same time so i have no idea which is doing the job i also have 18' wheels so i get the co0lness factor i got mine from ecs tunning there weren't too bad on price

I have slotted x-drilled and they were like $20 more. If you have some nice wheels that can show them off, why not. I don't think you'll notice much difference unless you are tracking the car.

I bought the slotted ones on my 12 valve when I had it. All it did was create twice the brake dust.

Yeah I'll agree with Jest. If you go slotted or x-drilled, you will probably want to run performance pads otherwise if you get a soft pads they will get chewed up quick. The performance pads cause more squeeling (as if your pads are low).
