well i am back little more traffic on the road than i wanted. i was able to get it up to 110. I was only able to make 2-3 runs at it. I am downloading excel right becuase i don't fn have it. then i will put up the post. if i can figure out how to do that.

Uh... Thats not exactly right format... Im not sure exactly what you did wrong, but thats not right. There should be columns. Maybe try using vag scope to log, if you didnt do that. Sorry i didnt tell you to do that before, i just remembered. But i think vag scope may be the way to do it and then convert to excell format.. Make sure you log your RPM's/engine speed while logging the maf, 02 sensor etc.

 

i couldn't load the file to af in the excel format only in notepad. It can be converted to excel through. I didn't have the rpms on the log. just the maf, cyl #1 timing, and both o2 sensors. So i will have to go do it again.

 

Something doesn't look right when i convert the text file to Excel.
I don't think the column headings are matching up with the right data.
Try posting the log as a tab delimited text file that way you will have columns that are defined by tabs instead of commas.

 

if your trying to read the document as it should be use word wrap

Ok i am able to make some sense out of this... I think your MAF readings are the larger numbers of all the numbers listed. It looks like you MAF g/s (gallons per second) go over 300 which is way off. Your g/s should be .80 X whatever horsepower you have. With GIAC, its about 200 hp. So .80 x 200 = 160, which is probably the highest # you should see out of all numbers you listed. Your MAF might be reading higher g/s than what is actually being flowed through it, and that would cause you to run rich, which is why you would slow down from getting flooded. If you really were taking in over 300 g/s you would be running SUPER lean and your engine would blow up because there is no way the correct amount of fuel could be delivered for that much air. Thats just what it looks like in view. Since the maf is reading such high g/s, your ecu would tell your engine to get the most amount of fuel possible to compensate for all that air. Because your MAF reading is false, you might be getting a whole lot of unneeded fuel. Have you noticed bad mpg lately or a rich odor of fuel lately??
