I have only a chip and can get to just over 140mph before the engine starts to feel it a bit.

 

Double check the MAF connection, dont drive with a blinking cel! I dont understand how that could have happend though. What yr are you again? Put your yr/engine and mods in your signature please. Are you sure they gave you the correct maf?

 

i hate limp mode only 5-6 psi. i will check w/ audi to make sure it was the right maf. i got the ects, just waiting for the car to cool down.

 

found out why the cel came on...idiot...the inlet hose from the maf that goes to the ic...yeah it fn fell off. or i just didn't put it on right. so i hope some nasty sh*t didn't go into my engine, because the air was not getting filter. hey maybe if the engine goes i can get an s4. lol but i am going to reset the cel and go for another drive.

 

I doubt you sucked in anything nasty during that short period of time, unless you were driving through a dusty construction zone or something. I woldnt worry about it. Did Audi put in your MAF?? Youd think people so highly paid would be able to tighten a hose clamp...??? Or did you put the maf in??

 

no....i put it in & i have took out that airbox 20+ times and never messed it up till now. i think it wasn't on all the way when i tightened it. no biggy...thank god. i drove it, awesome...more power it seems and the exhuast sound meaner when i get on it. i went up to 110 easier than before. traffics slow could not go anyfaster. no cel...yah. so i think i am going to do the ects as soon as the baby cools down and that takes forever.
to hit 130 would that take 30-40 secs from 0mph?

 

Audi_pa seems like your im my area since you mentioned the 495, Ive been having the same problem I got my car chipped GIAC (2000 1.8t Q) and its been about 2 weeks and im not getting the same push I got from the car before? So its a bit confusing I dont have the Vag com and that So i was wondering if you could check it out for me and how much would you charge? thanks

well i put the ects in, all in all the car is better than before i started this. still need to take it back to the highway tonight

 

Same here i got a 02 a4 3.0 supercharger hiting 10psi i got the tiptronic and i floor it and hit 100 but then it stays there for a bit before goin more any ideas
