Had a Check Engine light on for a while and it was blinking last week. Took
it in for a test at AutoZone and came with code 1128. It was known that
code 1128 has to do with system is running too lean. Checked the vac
hose and there was some tear on the hose that runs along the front of
the engine. Rather than just replacing one, I decided to replace all of the
vac hose that's why I have to take the intake manifold off.

Duct tape on top of a cylinder is no where near as bad as dirt. Pebbeles can destroy things, the duct tape was burnt up the first time i drove.
