smells like gas...

every time i fill my car up completely... I smell gas all around the car for a little while,(b5) Does anyone know why?

Could be the filter near the top of the tank. But you would smell it more than just when you are filling up. Check for leaks and you could try replacing it.

Dont mean to revive this from the dead, but I noticed the exact same thing as straitgame22. I fill it up and it takes a little bit down the road for it to go away.
