Snub Mount A4 2.8 auto/tip
I'm a newbe to this forumand I've enjoyed reading the various threads. But I've noticed various opinions on the benefits of a snub mount for my 1998 A4 2.8 auto/tip (105,000miles). I currently have no vibration to speak of and some posts spoke of this. So my questions are:
1. Would it be useful to change the mount on my car?
2. Could I exchange it using the method describing not removing the bumper, and messing with the radiator?
3. If a change should be done, which brand would you members recommend?
Thanks for your help...Randy

I'll help by bumping this up. I had the stealership mention a bad mount when I had mine in for repairs and was wondering if it was a real need or them trying to soak me. I have some vibration (98K) but nothing horrible. It's on my to do list and wouldn't mind some feedback myself. Anyone?
APR's snub mount is known to cause vibrations with tip and will probably need shaved to cure that. I had an APR mount (tip) and it caused vibrations even after shaving it. I think its just too stiff. Ive heard nothing but good things about the greedspeed snub from www.purems.com. I ended up putting a newoem one on and i have no complaints.
